Welcome to the Chris Akard online coaching program.

Here are the 4 set-up tasks, that you’ll need to do, to get everything started.

Feel free to revisit this page or the video above at any time, should you need a reminder on how to get things going.

Remember though, the sooner the better!

Your training program starts NOW!

(1) The first thing you’ll want to do is click here to schedule your first coaching appointment! 

If you end up having trouble finding an appointment that works for your schedule, just send me an email and I’ll do my very best to meet your schedule!

Our first appointment will be using the Zoom app, this will give us the chance to meet one another before we start our important work together. After you schedule the appointment time, be sure to look for a Zoom link in your email. You will want to have your Zoom app and your Zoom link ready to go for our start time.

I’ll be waiting, so don’t be late! :)

Note:  If for any reason you prefer to do our first coaching session on the phone, instead of Zoom, it’s no problem. Just schedule the appointment and let me know in an email reply if that’s the case.

During our first coaching call, I’ll reference the consultation form you will be filling out (more on this below).

We’ll discuss your personalized fitness and nutrition program that will be available within 24 hours of our first coaching session.

After that first Zoom meeting, our coaching sessions will be held via phone call appointment that you and I will schedule during our first coaching session

Now, I can tell you from experience, moving to phone calls after the initial Zoom call, will make things much easier for scheduling moving forward.

However, if you ever want another video meeting instead … just let me know!

(2) Now for your second task!

If you haven’t already, soon, you will receive an email, with simple instructions to set up the Chris Akard Online Coaching app.

Once the app is set up, be sure to turn on notifications so you won’t miss important messages from me about everything from your workout, to how things are going nutritionally.

You can also ask me questions there at any time! I’ll be here for you, and I will always get back to you within 24 hours.

(3) The third task you’ll want to do as soon as possible, is to download the app FitBit. 

It’s their main FitBit health & fitness app. Believe it or not, this app will actually be the app we use to track your nutrition. I’ve done the research and trust me, it provides the most detailed nutritional information for me to help you!

Now let me be clear, you do NOT need a FitBit device for this feature, but you will use the app for your food logs. If you don't have a FitBit device, just select “Just the app” at the bottom of the list.

Again, you do not need a FitBit device for this nutrition feature. You see, FitBit has a technology that integrates beautifully with the Chris
Akard Private Fitness app.

Once you have installed FitBit, just go from the main page, and scroll down to the green apple. Next to that apple is a (+) symbol. That’s what you will tap on when you go to log your food or beverage consumed. You will then see and use the search bar, to find your food or beverage.

Just enter the item and select your portions. It really gets easy once you get going, because the system starts to remember which foods you have logged prior. There is also an option to log with your food or beverage items bar code used to scan the food when you buy it. This will open your phone's camera and will automatically identify the food product! From there, you just select your portion!

When you have successfully logged a food item, go back to the Chris
Akard Private Fitness app settings menu, and then go to connected apps. There you will see FitBit and you can hit connect!

This is important because this is how it allows me to view all of your food logs. Now if it sounds confusing, I promise you, it’s not! Just move in the process and you’ll see everything you need.

The sooner you can start logging those foods the better we can get a sense of your lifestyle and how to make this WORK FOR YOU! Get started today!

You’ll learn a lot more when we have our first meeting about; how often to log and what will work for you!

(4) Now for your fourth and final task. If you haven’t already, be sure to look for that consultation-form email!

This form has four sections (consultation, terms & conditions, waiver, and health survey).

It will take you about 5 minutes, and it is rather important, so be sure to
take the time for it.

We’ll need each of the four sections completed before we get started. So, give us the details! We want to know more about you!

That’s it!

Just follow the four steps, and you’ll have everything you need to get going. Again, feel free to review this information or the video above, if you need to.
